In 1986 we set out to follow our passion of designing custom T-shirts & Apparel
It all started in the basement of my parent's house where I grew up. My dad had too many hobbies to mention but screen printing became one of them about the time I was 12 years old. He had a huge heart for a Carousel that was on the grounds of the local Mesker Park Zoo. He photographed the carousel and decided to screen print the image on poster paper. I began helping my dad carry the prints one by one laying them flat on the basement tables and floor so that the ink would dry. Then after each color dried, I would gather the prints up so my dad could print the next color. This process would go on and on depending on how many colors each serigraph print had. I always wished my dad would let me be the printer just one time and I still remember that day he did. That was the day I fell in love with screen printing!

After my dad perfected his serigraph printing he made a T-shirt press. We had fun printing t-shirts and worked together for many years screen printing as a hobby. In 1986 my father and I were both laid off from our jobs. Because my dad was never afraid of leaping into something new, we rented a building on North Main Street and opened up a screen printing company. After a few months my dad went back to his job and left me to run the business. It has definitely been a roller coaster ride with ups and downs and twists and turns but the passion always kept me going. I lost my dad in 2015 and one of the last conversations I had with him was about T-shirts.

I will always cherish the time printing side by side with my dad and will always be thankful for the chance he gave me to follow my passion. It is so exciting to watch the community use our T-shirts to promote, celebrate events, bring their groups together and help people who are hurting. As long as the community needs T-shirts and Apparel, ImaginationTs plans to be here!
